JOBURG EMS CONCERNED BY NUMBER OF FIRES IN INNER CITY

JOHANNESBURG – Johannesburg residents have are being urged to apply caution when keeping warm following a spate of fires in the city.

Two blocks of flats in Berea caught alight on Tuesday leaving one person injured.

Last month, a section of Gauteng Premier David Makhura’s office also caught fire due to an electrical fault.

Emergency Services’ Robert Mulaudzi says: “From our side as Emergency Services we’re concerned about the number of fire incidences, especially in the inner city.”
